Nice hotel very close to the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. The rooms are new and comfortable. Everything is very clean and the staff is always kind and available to answer to requests.

The night shift front desk person (Christopher) was very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We drove to the hotel and Chris gave us some good information on parking, since there is no hotel parking. He greeted us congratulating us on our anniversary and presented us a gift (bottle of wine) from the hotel. Btw, it was just past midnight when we arrived and Chris was as cheerful as anyone could have been. We were quite tired, and appreciated the warm greetings. Also, the room accommodations were great. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

I really liked the location. It was really convenient to get to the rest of downtown Berkeley. Unfortunately, it comes with a $49 parking fee since the location is so cental.

I chose location for its proximity to the UC Berkeley campus and it was very convenient. The campus is lovely and I enjoyed being in Berkeley town centre.

Staff was extremely friendly welcoming us and offered to help us carry luggage up because the elevator was out. We wish the elevator worked, but even with it out, the stay in the room was comfortable and worked for us.

This is 2 minutes from the Powell bart station, so it's an excellent location. If you want to do sightseeing, the area is very walkable, and there are also many trams and buses. You can walk to Fisherman's wharf from here (depending on the street you take, it might get a bit steep). There are many homeless people on the street, but during the day, I did not feel unsafe. There are plenty of other people walking around. I'm not sure about nights, I was inside in the evenings. The hotel had an atm in the lobby, which I really appreciated. You can be sure not to be disturbed while getting money. I was on the 7th floor. The room had enough space and was a little scruffy but clean. The shower was hot, and I even had a bath. I struggled for a minute to get the water to come out. I had to pull on the top button.

It was a beautiful property and would have gave it 10/10 if it wasn’t for the deposit issue I had with them. Big shoutouts to Oliva & Jackie - without them this score would have been lower, they were great

The location being in downtown Berkeley was convenient. There is BART stop and food shops steps away. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for the most part.

Breakfast was okay. Nothing bad, not great. Loved the bar had good mocktail menu. Location was perfect. walked to Berkeley Rep, some good restaurants. Easy walk to campus.

From the front desk clerk Olivia to the entire staff of this hotel made my stay a very pleasant experience by upgrading me at the very first check-in to upgrading me when the AC wasn’t working in my room and then sending me a care packet with champagne and bath bombs for my bath they made my state an exceptional experience!

location is right next to a bart and a target. very convenient location for getting around without a car. the staff is super friendly and helped me swap to a better room. the staff and location are the positives for my stay, but overall i wouldn’t stay here again.

I was welcomed by friendly staff at the door and that continued throughout my stay. Amazing location (BART station feet away and Target across the street). Many food options close by.
